Editorial Policy
All content is reviewed against primary sources — the Texas Tax Code (statutes.capitol.texas.gov), the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, and individual Central Appraisal District websites. We cite specific Tax Code sections inline. Pages are reviewed and updated at least quarterly, and immediately when major legislation changes (such as constitutional amendments passed in November 2025).
Affiliate relationships (see our Disclosure Policy) do not influence our county data, legal summaries, or protest strategy recommendations.
